First Showing - Blogging the Culture of Midnight Movies

Seeing a movie on opening night can be a blast when there is a full house of fans. I get a rush every time I see a movie on opening day. When I lived in Tampa, FL I went to see a few midnight shows at the Muvico 20 Starlight Theatres right near my apartment. Fan trivia, prizes, people dressing up as their favorite characters added to an already awesome movie going experience at that theatre.

Lately, my work has kept me from seeing a number of films on opening day. Thanks to FirstShowing.net I am now able to relive my fond memories of midnight movies vicariously through them and their site. These guys take waiting in line to an entirely new level.
